We made vegan candy before it was even a thing. Not because it was trendy, but because it felt right – and because we love doing things our own way. Today, 100% of our range is vegan – loved by vegans, non-vegans, flexitarians, Saturday candy monsters and everyone in between.
A SWEET START
BUBS since 1992
The year was 1992. A family in Sweden (not far from where IKEA was born!), mortgaged their home to buy their first candy machine.
The plan? To make their own candy. And good thing they did! The Lindström family – Bernt, Ulrik, Birgitta and Stefan (yep, that’s where BUBS comes from) – turned out to be absolute stars on the confectionary sky.
Together, they made BUBS a beloved, well-known brand. Since 2023, BUBS has been part of Orkla Snacks – but the soul of BUBS, creating irresistibly loved candy, is as vibrant as ever!

We make candy in one of the most modern factories in the Nordics.
Yep, we’ve got robots and driverless trucks. But most importantly – we’ve got amazing people who make sure every single candy piece tastes just right and lives up to our high BUBS standards. Our factory runs 24/7 and produces millions of kilos of candy every year. We are BRC-certified for food safety – because for us, safety and quality are just as essential as great taste.
